kieran, jocelyn & jenna // newborn photos at home.

Jenna was 4 days old for her first photo shoot. She rocked it. It’s going to be fun watching this gorgeous little one grow up.

patrick, kristen & parker // balboa park maternity session.

The name Parker comes from Old English origin and means “park keeper.” That’s not why Patrick and Kristen wanted a Balboa Park maternity session. Just a funny coincidence. And if little Parker is like his mom and dad, he’ll be goofy, playful and easy going. Again, no coincidence. Just good genes.

dave & vickie // reuben h. fleet science center wedding.

It had been a REALLY long time since there was a wedding at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center at Balboa Park. And there couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for Dave & Vickie’s wedding, a couple that loves science ALMOST as much as each other:-DWe started out at a downtown hotel for a traditional Chinese wedding tea ceremony. And a little entertainment beforehand.

Traditionally, the Chinese groom must show up at the bridal room and show his love for his bride before they marry. Dave and his groomsmen accepted and completed their game challenges. The last step is to present gifts to the bride, aka money. So, all the guys emptied their wallets and came up with $11. Vickie almost fell over laughing. “I’M WORTH $11?!?!?!” Dave stepped it up and threw in a $20;-)

This was our first traditional Chinese wedding tea ceremony.

And, into dress #2.

You know, just hanging out under Vickie’s wedding dress.

And a quick one in the IMAX dome.

The tables were named after famous scientists. And beakers and test tubes were used for vases!

Dress #3.
