We met them at a coffee shop, had the usual consult and then they walked out the door. Jess and I finished our Starbucks breakfast sandwiches and watched them talk by their car. About 3 minutes later, they came back. Said they really liked us and wanted us to shoot their wedding. Then Shannon and Jesse talked Harry Potter and Huy and I seemed similarly confused but went along with it. The next time we saw them, they had their FOUR dogs with them for the engagement shoot. Right. FOUR. We had crazy fun and lots of laughs and made some pretty pictures. But our favorite encounter was at their wedding at Wedgewood in Corona. It was gorgeous and memorable, just like Shannon & Huy. Some of the best vows we’ve heard because a) they wrote them (and that always gets me) and b) Shannon had hers translated and learned how to say them in Mandarin Chinese. It was beautiful. And this is how it all unfolded…
