Nicole & Brandon // A Skydiving Proposal.
Mon, May 19, 2014 | engagementsWe spent yesterday morning hanging out at Skydive San Diego, trying to not look suspicious, getting ready for a skydiving proposal. There had been a plan for months for this day, for this moment. Weather kept getting in the way and Brandon had to keep rescheduling his proposal. But yesterday was the day. Brandon and Nicole are regular skydivers, and Nicole thought Sunday’s jump was just like any other with some friends. After their group boarded the plane and took off, a bunch of their family and friends came out of hiding and anxiously waited for them to land.
It was a bright, sunny day and everyone’s excitement was contagious as we all stared up at the sun, hoping to see the blue and pink canopies. It was all part of the plan, Brandon and Nicole were going to do a high-pull, so they landed last. While up in the air, Brandon pulled out a ring box (with a fake ring) and then dropped it! On purpose! He finished, for real this time, with a the real ring, once they landed, as their friends and family cheered them on. It was a pretty incredible day. Nice work, Brandon, on one of the most creative proposal ideas we’ve ever seen!
