Sun, July 17, 2011 | weddingsHoly shmoley. What an emotional day. What a beautiful couple. What a wild bridal party. And what crazy LOVE Nicole and Robert have for each other and everyone has for them. Your favorite Creative California Wedding Photographers had a blast at work on July 9, 2011. Nicole and her girls got ready at her mom’s house. Donna is the definition of super mom. All she’s missing is the cape.
Years ago, Nicole and some of her girls and mom ate at Panda Express. They all saved their fortune cookies so they could open them sometime down the road when they were all together again. What better day to crack those puppies open…and what better fortune to have found 🙂
Meanwhile…I hate to be a pessimist, but those bottles are def more than half empty 😉
Oooh dang…hello, hot stuff!
Creative California Wedding Photographers get big kicks out of shooting at unique locations. We had so much fun shooting Nicole & Robert’s portraits at the Gable Mansion in Woodland, CA.
Can’t you picture them on their own front porch 50 years from now…sipping some lemonade?
FYI, we don’t ask all of our brides and grooms to run through tunnels. It just seemed appropriate since Nicole and Robert pretty much eat, sleep and breathe volley (Nicole) and soccer (Robert). And half their bridal party consisted of their teammates. It just felt right.
One stop on the way to the ceremony. Oh, and bridal party…You are RAD!!! For the 12 of you who aren’t married yet, call me when it’s your turn. We’d like to do this again sometime 😀
A little stroll through Woodland.
The photo on the left (the girls praying with/for Nicole before the ceremony) is one of my favorites from the day. About 5 minutes later, some of the ladies in Robert’s family stopped by to induct Nicole into the family with a bottle of Jack. Couldn’t help but put these side by side.
And this is where everyone lost it.
Best maid of honor speech I’ve heard to date. Alex rapped a little ditty about Nicole and Robert’s love to the tune of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song (one of her and Nicole’s faves).
Did I mention it was HOT? Almost 100 degrees. These fans came in handy.
